Today we present you once again a great car camera. This time we picked out the Akaso Dashcam with a wide angle lens of 170 degrees. The cam is very inexpensive and compares quite well with the competition.

The installation can be done quite easily and the camera is mounted on the inside of the windshield by means of an adhesive bracket.

When you get the Akaso V1 car camera, you can look forward to many practical features and functions. These include GPS, WiFi and an accelerometer. There is also night vision recording and a parking monitor.

Especially the GPS is very advantageous, you can use the Dashcam to record your route, latitude and longitude, as well as your driving speed. At the same time, the advanced Sony IMX323 CMOS sensor captures all the details in front of your vehicle at Full HD 1080P resolution and 30 fps.

Technical data and facts about the Akaso Dashcam

Technically, the Akaso Dashcam can definitely keep up with the competition. We were especially impressed by the excellent night vision of the car camera. The images are very clear and the license plates are easy to recognize.

The camera records continuously in loop mode. The oldest file is constantly and fully automatically overwritten with the new recording.

If the Dash Cam detects a collision via the G-sensor, the emergency lock engages and the cam locks the file before loop deletion to secure the evidence.

Really ingenious is also the built-in GPS, thanks to which you can get a lot of valuable tracking data.

The WiFi system is also included. You can use it to pair up your mobile phone and control the Akaso Dashcam easily via app.

You don’t need an extra GPS antenna module or anything else. All electronic components are permanently installed in the Akaso Dashcam.
