4K VR cameras are becoming more and more popular every year. There are also more and more models and different designs.

A special camera model is the VUZE 3D-360 Grade-4K VR camera, it has the decisive advantage over other cams that it records with the help of 8 independently working cameras. These are built around the model.

Each of these individual cameras records a great picture in Full HD, which is then merged into a 4K 360 degree video.

The price for this model is a bit high, but you get a VR camera with a unique camera design.

Technical features

Design

Due to the 8 individual cameras, the 360 degree VR overall image is much higher quality than that of other VR cams.

Design and appearance

The camera looks very unusual, because of its 8 single cameras the VR Cam has a square design.

Additionally it has 4 audio recording sensors, so microphones and these are not bad at all. Even light wind does not lead to unpleasant noise. Nevertheless, the audio tracks sound a bit tinny, which is normal for action cameras and VR videocams, but compared to other models, the sound is quite good.

The model weighs only 499 grams and has the following dimensions: 25 x 20 x 7 cm.

Handling and operation are very simple and intuitive. However, we strongly recommend that you read the operating instructions beforehand.

Assets and drawbacks

Advantages:

  • Easy handling – the software is quite simple to use
  • Even more realistic VR experience (3D effect) for the viewer due to the 8 single frame cameras
  • The Vuze camera can be controlled via Wifi with the smartphone – but the app is not yet fully developed
  • Very good image quality
  • The company continues to work on the model – it will be perfectly mature at some point

Cons:

  • Higher susceptibility to stitching errors – Distortions possible
  • Unfortunately the app for this 360 degree camera is still in beta phase
  • High price

Conclusion

360 Grad Kamera

It is theoretically possible that the camera causes more stitching errors, because the model has 8 single cameras and therefore more single images have to be stitched together and a higher error rate compared to other models is theoretically possible, but practically the shots are quite okay. Here everybody has to decide for himself if he buys a classic VR Cam with 2 wide angle lenses or the VR camera with 8 single cameras. Many users report that the model is not yet fully developed.

The manufacturer still managed to create a cool 360 degree camera with a stereotypical 3D effect and we have a lot of respect for that. The 8 lenses provide a much greater depth and the VR experience is even more realistic.

All in all, this system also has many advantages, even though theoretically there could be more errors due to the overlays.
