In this article we present the extremely affordable Delkin Action Digital Camera with HD video function and 1.5 inch display.
Technical properties
Of course, this is a low-budget cam from which you shouldn’t expect too much. For people who don’t have a lot of money at their disposal and would like to have a camera that takes the best pictures possible, it is well suited, but there are also some disadvantages.
For example, the camera cannot be switched off while it is still in the housing, you have to remove it first.
It is also well suited for extreme sports and has a variety of settings. The included housing is waterproof up to 30 meters.
Design and appearance
The cam does not have a typical camera design, but rather rounded corners and edges, which makes the appearance much more feminine.
At the front left there is the camera lens, above some adjustment options, a 1.5 inch display at the back and at the right a flap for inserting the battery.
A car charger cable and a general charger are also supplied for charging.
Otherwise there is not much to say about the look, the cam is available in black. Furthermore, it only weighs 85.1 grams.
Image sensor, resolution and memory
As image sensor is used in the model of the Delkin Action digital camera an 8 megapixel strong sensor. Videos can be recorded in 1080p HD resolution format.
The camera has a 3x digital zoom and a 150 degree wide angle lens.
In the scope of delivery there is also an 8 Gbyte Micro SD card on which the pictures and video recordings are stored.

Assets and drawbacks
Advantages:
- Very light and compact action camera
- You can also attach the camera to drones or RC aircraft
- Memory card is included in delivery
- Extremely cheap and still good performance and quality
- For this price the camera has a quite extensive set
Cons:
- You can’t just switch off the camera while it is in the housing, you have to remove it before
- Complicated removal of the camera from the housing
- The display cannot be seen so well in strong sunlight
Conclusion
All in all, the Delkin Actioncam is a great camera with lots of accessories and a surprisingly good price/performance ratio. It’s easy to use, delivers pretty good shots and is available for under 30€!
Nevertheless, you shouldn’t expect too much from this model, it’s still a very cheap camera that can be used in many ways, but can’t be compared to a more expensive camera model.
